I am driving down from Leicester to Portsmouth with a group of scouts and need to find somewhere for breakfast on route.

Bit of a long shot, but after some recommendations for a roadside cafe on or near the A34 southbound around the Oxford and Newbury stretch. I know there are the motorway services at the M4 junction, but cannot really justify asking the scouts to pay services prices for breakfast. At a push McDonalds will suffice, but I know they would rather have a full English.

Try Cafe Aloha Westway Shopping Centre Botley Oxford. About 1/2 mile off the A34 at the Botley Interchange, also called Seacourt Tower.
Great breakfast!!!! inc Black Pudding! Opens at 8.30.

If you do go to McDonald's go to the Tothill Services rather than the Sutton Scotney Services (Roadchef) McDonald's
