I dont think any chip shop uses pure beef dripping anymore because it hydrogenates too quickly. Most use a blend of oils with around 10% beef dripping.

Monday night meat frenzy. Mixed grill which was delicious as always, lamb vindaloo, sag aloo, some out of shot pilau rice and also a few poppadoms. Hit the spot.

Well after comments that this Parmo was a little burnt round the edges....

Its not quite a genuine parmo, the bechamel has been replaced by tomato sauce they use on their pizza's. The onion rings are there to get the free delivery and where great cold the next day. Garlic mayo in the tub. From the take away in Dunnington, just outside of York.

Its only fair to give them a second attempt:



No onion rings this time as I collected it. A bit burnt again, but still lovely.
