why would anyone these days expect fast food to look exactly like it is in their photographs? It probably took them afew hours to 'cook' and photograph the Chizza, it took whoever afew min to make it and 1 person 3sec to photograph it using their camera phone. It doesn't look bad to me.

Fair point. That KFC thing most definitely looks GRIM! (And I'm not even worried about the comparison with the advert...).

I have filth so rarely these days that wasting it on that KFC monstrosity would be upsetting.

(Which has reminded me that the OH is away later this week...kebab shop here I come!).

Cheeky GBK. I fancied onion rings instead of chips.

I also had chips.

I forgot to take a picture but there's a three menu Big Mac thing going on here in the States at McDonalds, had the massive one with "large" everything, it was 1/3lb of beef and not bad actually.

They regularly have the grand Mac in France, and I can confirm that it is fking awesome. It's the size a normal Big Mac should be in my opinion.

Still not big enough really though, it should be 2 1/4 pounder patties to give a half pound burger. A 1/3lb burger is not that big.

That would somewhat step on the toes of the double quarter pounder

We would then get accused of encouraging obesity, I suspect the chances of seeing big burgers at McDonald's in the UK are slim.

Well I guess KFC decided to field an entry for the thread

I was rather excited when I saw that this was coming to the UK, less so when I saw the actual product:

Did you buy that in the UK?

True. The Americans dont know what they are eating though because in a 2014 survey by A&W customers were asked whether they prefer ed the 1/3rd lb A&W burger or the 1/4lb McDonalds..... More than half of the participants in the Yankelovich focus groups questioned the price of our burger. "Why," they asked, "should we pay the same amount for a third of a pound of meat as we do for a quarter-pound of meat at McDonald's? You're overcharging us." Honestly. People thought a third of a pound was less than a quarter of a pound. After all, three is less than four!

Sorry, it was a random picture I found. Not seen it for sale yet, as ever the product picture is always somewhat different to the reality. I'll still try one when it becomes available though hehe
