That place has always been a craphole but I've eaten from takeaways that were far worse. The worst one was probably the cheap fried chicken and pizza place in Harehills. It got shutdown after a customer found a cockroach in their pizza crust. The chicken burgers I used to get from there were always fine mind.

Despite my local doing it on the menu I've never had a doner beef burger. Must try it next time.

Most places near to me when I'm in the UK don't advertise it, but if there is an elephant leg and a grill, it's impossible for them to say no to the request. Chilli sauce on this one was a bit of a joke, it was more like mildly spicy ketchup, but donner meat, cheese and burger were all tiptop. Bun was well toasted, too.

When I went to uni there was a club called 'The Works' that had a fast food place inside selling fried chicken, burgers, hotdogs etc.. inside. I was in awe.

Yes I've seen similar. Karisma [sic] nightclub on Duke Street in Doncaster on a Wednesday night circa 1997. I would have four pints of weak lager and then order a large hotdog from the diner in there.

A couple of minutes away I have a fine selection of very low hygiene rated takeaways and one that's been done for food fraud (yet is constantly busy for some reason):

Unfortunately I have standards and rarely drink to the point where I lose these, if I'm spending money I prefer to get something "clean" even if it's incredibly unhealthy. Getting fat and making my heart explode is one thing, getting ill and having my ass explode is another.

That looks gourmet, even the presentation is up there. In fact it looks 10x better than the crap burger I got at the Jamie's Italian in Leeds last week.
