My usual chippy does a super jumbo and chips which is 08.kg to 1kg to fish and a load of chips in a pizza box. Easily enough to feed 2-3 people depending on appetite. Had one a while back where they felt the fish wasn’t big enough so chucked in a regular piece for fun.

I’m assuming he meant 1 hour from ordering to it being delivered. If so that seems normal for a Friday night. Most takeaways usually say 40-50 mins and end up taking an hour in my experience
