You might have to travel a bit further than that... I'd say that looks like a create your own burger and Australia's very own "gravy loaded fries". Utter filth. https://mcdonalds.com.au/menu/gravy-loaded-fries

Just picked one up. For some reason after shaving the leg they hack it into tiny pieces and server it in a crusty cob, otherwise looks the same.

Surely that can't be a McDonalds, looks too tasty and what is on the chips?
Sorry yes, not sure if you have it back in Blighty, 'Create Your Taste', you can see the order on the right of my photo.

Afraid we don't and as far as I'm aware there are currently no plans for it either

Sometimes, but I understand we don't have the infrastructure in our restaurants to offer this.

Australia tend to jump at all new McDonalds initiatives, some pay off, some don't.

We're a little more cautious over here

Locals tip : The Empire chippy is not the best in Wakefield never mind outwood, if you drive a little bit further up the road on the opposite side there is Tony's Fish n Chips.

Hi Vandenberg - my parents now live just a bit further up Leeds road, near the Co-Op.

Grew up in Stanley - so Kev's opposite the Church was our usual, but the one you mention, and the back towards Wakefield - on the parade of shops (next to a blind/curtain shop if I remember). Annie's fish and chips ( I think it was called) used to be top notch.

Will give Tony's a try when next up visiting.

Greetings from Leeds!

King Kong burger - 3x 1/4 pounders, fried egg, mushrooms and onions.

Lamb Vindaloo with 3x chappatis. The burger hit the spot, the curry was utter dog st. Note my 16th century Ming dynisty dirty takeaway plate. The Mrs genuinely sees this plate as threat to our relationship. She's mental.
