Here's a not great picture of Friday's lunch.
Large sausage bap with Onions and cheese. Bad photos, greasy awesome goodness. Often have it without the cheese in a tiger bread baguette, which is lovely. Butter face may know it: this is from Nigel, the van by the Jag/LR dealership in Threemilestone near Truro.

OH has a friend who is always bringing food round for us to try, and this weeks delight was a kebab from some restaurant in London.
At first I thought there couldn't be any thing special about a kebab, but it was hands down the best one I have ever made my arteries suffer for. The meat (which you can just about see poking out in each corner) is 2 pieces of lamb going from corner to corner and the rice has some special voodoo st on cos I even loved that and I am not normally a fan of rice. Big black thing was a grilled tomato which got fed to my hoover of a dog.. no room for all that vegetable stuff in a takeaway!
hahah that's Persian kabab it's called cholo kabab or cholo kabab kobideh and it's relatively healthy compared to your everyday Turkish kebabs. It's served mostly in Persian restaurants. At first I thought there couldn't be any thing special about a kebab, but it was hands down the best one I have ever made my arteries suffer for. Traditionally you put a small knob of butter in the rice and mix it until it melts and then you peel the tomatos skin and put some salt on it. You should get a piece of the kobideh, tomato and buttery rice with every spoonful.

Here it is on one of my 200 priceless antique tables:
It tasted..interesting. I might nip to the Indian Ocean restaurant in Pourtsmouth, famed for it's cleanliess and food, tommorow for a quick bite. That being said, however, I'm a bit scared about taking the One-77 in case it gets vandalised or nicked..
