Not had an indian for a while so decided as the other half was away i would get stuck in.

Tandoori mixed main with no chicken on the bone
Chicken tikka dhansak (cooked hot and spicy) never tried this dish before so thought i would give it a go
Saag paneer side
Keema naan
Puree

Should be here within the hour, beer in the fridge and Netflix on. No work tomorrow. Bliss!! Pics of the car crash I've ordered to follow!!

I think you'll like dhansak. It's a good mix of hot and a little sour with good texture from lentils.

Why no bone in chicken? Thighs and wings are the best bit of tandoori.

That's some fancy pants vegetarian lunch served out of an old Citreon van by somebody from Bristol with a drug problem.

Most of us know what sort of takeaways the thread title intends to capture and this abomination isn't it.

Last night's deeply mediocre effort from an Indian I've never used before on Deliveroo. What you are looking at is some average chicken tikka which for unknown and unadvertised reasons came with a load of steamed tomatoes that infected the flavour of the chicken, pilau rice that was clumpy, lamb vindaloo that almost redeemed the order through its excellence, and finally some appalling aloo gobi that was covered in what tasted like a cheap supermarket pasta sauce and would undoubtedly get you life without parole if served in India. The poppadoms were also rubbish. So disappointing.

I had a similar disappointment recently. Ordered a madras that was literally like baby food with chilli powder added.

I complained and they tried to defend their mushy effort.
