Anyone else use these?

In the summer I bought a big brisket, pork shoulder, burgers etc for a BBQ from Great British Meat Co. Price and quality were excellent but I hadn't actually ordered again. On Saturday I got one of their mailshots that said they had 60kg of Beef Shin from a cancelled order at £4 per kg. Incredible value, I bought the per customer max of 6kg, and figured I may aswell add 2.5kg of chicken breast fillets, 1.5kg of black pudding, 1.5kg pork leg, and some bacon to qualify for the free delivery. All of this for just over £50 - bargain.

I've been very happy with GreenPastureFarms for my grass fed meat and TheFishSociety for fish. Still use local butcher for a fair bit but the bulk online.

Should add tarelgin.com for Scottish stuff. 3lbs black pudding stick for £7, 4lbs square sausage for £5.50. Excellent.

These people http://www.westingourmet.co.uk/new-special-offers/...

appear to be the same as these people http://www.musclefood.com/bundles/new-customer-mea...

Both have different special offers.

I have used the top company and they deliver to the most far flung corners of Britain, and some of their offers are incredible. But I cannot vouch for the quality of their meat. I have introduced others to Westin Gourmet and they are ecstatic with their products.

I use Westin Gourmet too - they did me proud for Christmas. I tend to order a few times a year when they have a good special on. never really had any quality issues with them.

I use J C Rook and Sons, http://www.rooksonline.co.uk/

They are local to me in Kent, and they do free delivery nationally on any orders over £50. The quality is excellent.

I'd recomend them highly too, though have only had shellfish from them so far, delivers quick and really reasonable prices. Medium king crab leg sets were £18 a kilo, we had those and some red langostinos they had in a while back to use in a seafood boil, loads of meat in them.

I used to use them a lot, they let you know when any item becomes a bit of a bargain (market prices) and tend to very fair on prices. You can get 5kg of hake fillet for £15 , you could use it for dog food.
Dressed crabs are good, cold water prawns are superb, crevettes are great.

But I had an issue with a delivery in July and they did not even respond to my email. Not used them since frown

I used them for a 2.5kg rib of beef over Christmas.

The meat was excellent, delivery was almost to the minute when they said it would be and as a bonus, they sent my order twice but only charged me once biggrin

this- very good and very cheap.

All of their beef is 24 day dry aged (not that they admit it on the website anywhere!)

rteally good sausages too- they have won a couple of awards which in this case was well deserved
