I'm feeling devoid of inspiration today. I'm in a metropolitan area so most options are probably 'in scope'. Takeaway preferred and under a tenner (preferably under a fiver!).

I'll post pics of the winning contribution - how's that?!

Go!

You have an odd definition of "no constraints" biggrin

Large donner, salad, chilli sauce and large chips with mayo.

I'm full of cold, live out in the sticks and am watching what I eat at the moment to drop some of the Christmas excesses - I would bite someone's leg off for that lunch smile

Oh yeah.. hehe

Well - I don't want someone recommending a light bite at La Gavroche wink

Please someone else respond - I don't want to get stuck with a donner laugh

A footlong double toasted double cheesed Meatball Marinara with pickles and jalapenos on wheat.

And an orange juice.

Clearly that has to be the large pork one. I don't like them too spicy, but suit yourself.

With Guac, obvs...

(I just had a couple of chicken and mushroom slices from the Sainsbury's, as we have a lack of choice round these parts.

WRT Birley's - Salt beef on granary with mustard, pickles, and your choice of salad, surely?

Nah, pork is a bit played out I find - I don't really do it unless I've been smoking it for ten hours in the Weber hehe

Anyway, went for chicken, pics to follow. It was mammoth!

Cheers for the steer Louie thumbup

Park St Bristol.

To be fair it's like a glorified Subway. Fairly tasty but in the end a bit like a chicken kebab with special chilli sauce. I did get pics as promised - brb hehe

Thank goodness the pics arrived.

I was beginning to think I wouldn't see them before the weekend.

How would I have been able to rest?

The only reason I buggered with the pics was to get them below 2 meg so they'd upload on here.

Pfft, rookie mistake to unwrap the burrito like that! You just rip one end of the foil off and start eating

That would certainly have been easier, however less of a photo opportunity. Toughie.

That burrito looks bob-on...reminds me of just how good the Streetfood Chef's burrito's were in Sheffield. May have to get a beery trip back over the hills and call in on Richard for a mid-beverage snackage.

Is Birley's THAT good, or is it just hipster heaven? Every time I walk past one there is a queue of some 50 people. I have never yet been tempted to wait that long for my lunch.
