Is there some kind of international shortage? Has some glass been found in them at the factory and they've all been withdrawn.
Impossible to buy round our way, own brands or proper ones, Sainsbury, Tesco, Co op, Iceland, all sold out. This is West London, not the Scottish Islands! Popped into Tesco Pimlico yesterday as I was passing, sold out!

Ffs! My oldest lad (19) isn't a big eater, never has been, very slim, and I worry about him. But he does like to dunk a few bourbons in his tea, daily. It's his main source of calories I reckon! It's a nightmare not being able to get any. Been about a fortnight now without success.

Gone to the same place as Rum and Raisin ice cream perhaps. The entire world is being taken over by salted caramel.

No Bourbons or Ginger Nuts = British equivalent of a famine.

When the Rich Tea biscuits are all gone, Ethiopia will release a charity single for us...

Same round here in Essex although supplies just started making it through. Rumor was main UK factory was hit in the Xmas floods. Not sure if true but I guess it would be like they were ready dunked.

Carrs water biscuits are off shelf for a while as McVities in Carlisle is the only place which can make them, I think they've managed to find alternative production site for all their other lines though.

Plenty of stock in High Wycombe!

I wonder if the rise of the chocolate hobnob has had anything to do with stock levels elsewhere...

Peek Frean Bourbon biscuits.....heaven.

Takes me back to when I first started work which had me going up to London Bridge on the train which went past the Peak Frean factory in Bermondsey, the smell as you went past was glorious!

I did notice a distinct lack of supplies in my local Tesco yesterday, no 24 biscuit packs, but managed to pick up three packs of 17 (weird number) made by Fox's, which are much slimmer than the norm.

Dunked in coffee.......bliss biggrin

The factory was under 6 feet of water a month ago, it'll be a while before production restarts, all our machines (the company I worked for supply some kit to them) were ruined, they also made custard creams, water biscuits, gold bars so you need to stock up if you can find them.

If it helps, I could stand sideways at college and people would lose sight of me.

That is not, *ahem*, a problem I have now...
