I believe this is just a marketing ploy to disperse the vast EU Slimfast mountain that built up since the late 90s.

Someone's misspelled 'gruel'.

And realised that by doing so, and marketing it as 'ethical' and 'healthy', they can charge over 10x the bulk price for it.

For £45 a week, I could live on steak!

Sounds vaguely similar to Soylent and I can't work out why anyone would want to "eat" that either.

Sad thing is I'm sure this could have a lot of uses in certain circumstances where there are real issues getting nutrition to people, but it's pretty weird to be here in the UK surrounded by healthy fresh food in abundance and then choose to live off something that looks like the stuff they gave Robocop.

Seems a first world problem if there ever was one.

food is taste,texture not slop.

i use meal replacements sometimes but these are vlc, but this is just stupid.
