Thanks, will see what's on offer.
Picked up:- Dalmore Regalis
- Dalmore Luceo
- Kininvie 17
I didn't look at the ashtray selection....
Tasting notes are interesting.
Regalis has been finished in American white oak and Amoroso Sherry casks, and offers given nosing and tasting notes of mulled wine, exotic fruits, marzipan, toffee, walnuts, pecan cake and Manuka honey.
Luceo is finished in American white oak and Apostoles casks for notes of Cognac-soaked Madeira cake, tangy fruits, treacle tart, pistachios, Colombian coffee and Sanguinello blood oranges.

Aberfeldy 18 is a nice drop that I think is a duty free only bottle. Tend to see it out in the Far East as opposed to Europe though.
Yep, at was available too - but had that before (I like to try something different every time)The Blavenie triple casks are still about as well.
Glenlivet Founders Reserve is pretty decent. Picked up a couple of bottles (one for me - one for the father in law) a month or so back - £20 in Tesco. Very nice dram.
Wife bought me a bottle of Glenmorangie Signet a couple of years back. Very dark and full flavoured - I'd definitely recommend it - but it's pricey (I've seen it priced anywhere between £120 and £180 a bottle).

Old Pultney 12 yr old is on offer for £24 in Tesco at the moment.
-I usually prefer peaty Islays but would buy this again.
I love Old Putney. Beautiful rich salty caramel heaven-I usually prefer peaty Islays but would buy this again.
Missed it at Tesco tonight but they have Glenfiddich Rich Oak 14 yo for £19.something.
A bit of a bargain for those of you who like oaky/sherry speysiders

I've been treated to a bottle of Hibiki 12 year old. I know this seems to have been replaced with their NAS version.
Worth drinking, or saving for a special occasion?
