Are we allowed to talk about bourbon here?
I bought a bottle of this after a very enjoyable (free!) distillery tour while I had a free weekend in Kentucky last year. It was so good I've had to buy another

What is that stuff like? I have noticed Asda sell it, is it worth the extra over the likes of Bulleit / Buffalo Trace etc? I bought a bottle of this after a very enjoyable (free!) distillery tour while I had a free weekend in Kentucky last year. It was so good I've had to buy another

It comes from the Buffalo Trace distillery. IMO it's much nicer than normal BT or Bulleit (which I'm not a huge fan of) but it feels a little pricey when I originally got a litre for $35. Didn't stop me buying it though Edited by seiben on Saturday 4th February 13:22

Incidentally Pappy Van Winkle comes from the Buffalo Trace Distillery as well, so it's not just a cheap brand pushing a pricier version, they do make top quality spirit - when they want to.
England's secret weapon.
No way am I a whisky conneseur. However this is really smooth has a delicous taste and goes down really well.
Their peated variant is something else altogether, but as I cut it ever so slightly it mellowed on the palate enough for (me) to discern the flavours and it does grow on you...a real man's whisky...

I'm looking for some help/guidance on the best place to sell a presentation box set for Mortlach 75 which also contains a small sample bottle/vial. The whisky is pretty rare as a bottle/decanter costs £25,000, and only 100 bottles have being released. From what I gather the box set is worth circa. £350, and wondered if there is good whisky forum I should consider, or is eBay any good?
Thanks
