Hi everyone.

Where's the best place to buy smoking chips.
Any recommendations or tips for my first smoking attempt?

Thanks
Nick

Hot smoked seems good but I've only used them for pellets. I tend to pick up a few boxes of chips from The Range when I buy charcoal from there. Seem to have a decent range.

Don't overdo it with smoke.

Have a look in the Shop of Everything (Amazon).

I get a variety of dusts for my cold smoker from there, and having a bought a Landmann Kentucky BBQ/Smoker, am about to invest in some wood chips.

You can buy chunks on ebay.

When I showed the GF what I was thinking of buying she said her Dad would be spinning in his grave if he new what I was prepared to pay for lumps of apple, cherry, oak etc. Unfortunately I don't have a farm and acres of woodland!

I've bought some curing stuff from these folk before - was tempted by some of the stuff they had on offer for smoking, you've got me thinking again.
