Gluten, yeast, meat and onion-free desserts
Discussion
It sounds like you're up for the challenge of producing something unexpected OP?
Have a vegan book at home to cater for various allergies, by Ms Cupcake - if you want anything cake recipe wise let me know. You'd need to be near somewhere large enough to stock gluten free flour but the rest is fairly doable.
Bake well tart cupcakes can be done for example with gluten free SR flour with some xantham gum added. Soya milk, etc. Just depends on how close you are to a big supermarket that will stock what you need? Ours has xantham etc but not all do...

Got a group coming for dinner on Saturday, for one of whom gluten, yeast, onion and meat are off the menu.
I think I'm safe for the savoury side of things, but would appreciate suggests on desserts please. Best I've come up with so far is a flour-free chocolate and pear cake, and I'm sure the PH collective can do better!
Main course will be middle-east inspired, should that provide any inspiration.
Thanks
I'd speak to her partner and explain that he will be welcome when he has a partner that is willing to fit in.I think I'm safe for the savoury side of things, but would appreciate suggests on desserts please. It will be a bloody miserable evening with her at the table.
Print this post off, and make the mad cow read it before you start to eat.
If you don't, then she will ruin your evening, just like she has already ruined hundreds of other decent people's evenings.

If only to show what just how ignorant some people can be.
Enjoy the night and the challenge of the preparation!
