Hot pitta bread, butter and Marmite inside, stuffed with cold grated carrot, delicious.

I thought of this thread when I was putting grated cheese on my hand covering it in ketchup and shoving in my gob. Not sure there is a better taste than cheese with ketchup. It's a quick way to get both!

If making a dirty sandwich, I'll always do a few 'parcels', flat piece of ham, cheese in the middle, then ketchup, fold ham into itself and consume.

I make sure I have equal amounts of different food groups right till the end of the meal and leave the best part till last. So if I feel that I'm having too many chips I slow down on them so I can have enough to finish at an equal pace, do the same with my drink and I always leave enough of the drink to quench my thirst and clean my pallet at the end, hard to explain how I know the measurements but if I don't get the right amount it doesn't feel right.

I absolutely hate milk in hot drinks; however, there is one exception. When going for a picnic, l like a flask of coffee with milk added, along with egg sandwiches, it evokes memories of childhood picnics with my parents back in the 60’s

I used to the eat-one-food-group-at-a-time-thing as a kid. Think it stems from being told to eat all your veggies. Always used to save the best to last - usually the meat.

Couldn't do it now though, you miss out on textures and to a degree taste combinations.
