Food Pet Peeves

My food peeve is why it's impossible to find a nice ham, cheese & pickle, BLT or Bacon, Turkey & mayo sandwich anywhere in the UK outside normal shop opening hours. Every garage, service area or corner shop has thousands of tuna mayo, tuna sweetcorn, egg mayo, cheese & pickle, 3 cheeses, grated cheese mix sandwiches but never anything with meat in, because Muslims innit.

Pretty sure it's because they are about 500 calories for a sandwich so people go for a less calorific choice and not because the filling offends anyone.

why would you ever buy a sandwich from a corner shop? those 99p things! it's a mistake you only ever make once. not tasty.

Depends where you go. Not all sandwich companies are equal.

It's because all the white lardass secular people have been in and snaffled them during the day, not being able to survive the drive between all you can eat buffets without a light snack.

Tied in with this is not knowing what is on the menu but they haven't got in.

I have walked out after three "sorry we're out of......" shuttle runs to and from the kitchen before, having got down 3/4 of a pint.
