Show them a UK Dominos or Pizza Hut menu.
Laugh with joy because American pizza is so awful?

Not saying Dominos or Pizza Hut is particularly good but American pizza is terrible in my experience. Inch thick and greasy as anything for the most part.
Dominoes and Pizza hut etc are absolute muck. The best pizza I have ever had was in Vegas, thin and like a proper, authentic Italian pizza.

Thats not American style pizza though is it. Thats Italian style pizza. Speckledjim said Americans would laugh. Why would you need to go to America an Italian pizza? hehe

You know the origin of pizza right? Americans have plenty more proper pizza than we do, it's Italian.

My point was that when I think of American Pizza, my brain matches what Google thinks and it isnt Italian style...

Back in the 70s I seem to remember these were called "double dough" perfect fodder in combination with various substances, both liquid, and otherwise biggrin
I'm not sure my heart would thank me now though!

It varies depending where in the US you are does it not? When I was in NYC the pizzas were, as I recall, thin based. Chicago is all about deep pan though no?

I'm not sure if p1stonhead is just on the windup just on the windup. Nobody said American Pizza. Also most independant Pizza places in the UK are stodgy thick things too.

Filthy stuff in general. Overpriced cheese on toast.

I live in a village in between a town and city that both have a Dominoes. I had a takeaway leaflet through the door once but neither branch would deliver so I found a more local place that would and have used them ever since. I find Dominoes too salty anyway.

Takeaway pizza is way overpriced for what it is anyway so I rarely have it.

Use the code WHISPER1 50% off, worked for me about 80% of the time. (clear cookies/diff browsers etc)

Dominos leaves a funny greasy film in my mouth after eating it, utter filth of the highest order.

All the supermarkets do decent pizza these days. Can't imagine getting that stuff delivered unless I lived in the middle of nowhere or had been smoking jazz fags late at night.

Dominos is one of those things that I decide I want about once every 2 years, I eat it and then instantly regret it. You'd think I'd learn. As for paying £18, you can do much better.

Dominos always seems to disappoint once you have had it. Much prefer a fresh supermarket pizza, the local Morissons does a really good one!

Costco pizza is the best value. Taste delicious to me and around 6 pounds for a whole large takeaway pizza if i remember right
