King prawn in black bean sauce, boiled rice.

Probably my all time favourite Chinese… umami gorgeousness.

Garlic and parmesan spuds with Cajun chicken, avec petit pois

I considered the unpretentious thread but they are eating pies out of tin like feral animals…

Glorious day here, and best mates just back from 3 months in Asia… so a good excuse for a paella.

Monkfish, calamari, gambon and mussels.

Proper socorat

Ensalada de pulpo (octopus salad)

Plenty of crusty bread

Tarta manzana (with fresh cream)… alreaydynhalf demolished before I could get a photo

Orzo, chicken and chorizo, topped off with a sprinkling of chopped basil and parmesan, delish!

One from the weekend:
Slow cooked, very meaty pork ribs with loaded skins and a tangy tomato and onion salad. So incredibly tender!

Never heard of ‘beef olives’ before; got to say that looks scrumptious.
They are basically rolled steaks with a stuffing that is usually sausagemeat

Something a bit different from me. Cumin lamb, crushed new potatoes and salad with sundries toms and red onion.

First time ever cooking lamb steaks. Needs improvement!

Good man. If you'd had a glass there and a plain white circular plate for the food I'd have been a little disappointed that the predictable things of life had changed!
