Was feeling peckish on the way to golf and remembered there was a Wimpy on the way to way I was playing, so an "Express Bacon and Cheese" was duly ordered.

Twice the price of similar from McDonald's, and worth every penny.

hehe

I knew this would get a reaction.

On the left we have chicken tikka pakora, and on the right we have donner pakora

The chicken tikka pakora was OK,, Unfortunately, the donner pakora just wasn't that tasty. The pakora batter totally overpowered the elephants leg flavour.
It reminded me of the KFC hot wings. After a few you can only taste the coating. This was similar.
I had to try it once, but I doubt I'll be having donner pakora again.

Isn't that Chicken Tikka Pakora. I have had that in an Indian resturant south of London.

Wetherby whaler is very consistent in my experience - cooked to order and a good menu (Guiseley)

My 6 year old calls it the "Wibbly Whaler" which we have kept as a name for it.

That reminds me of Saturday night treat tea from my childhood. Marvellous.
