Somewhere with some character and individuality? You heathen
There’s only one place more identikit and soulless than a spoons and it’s Brewdog, Spoons ftw in that scenario.
Cardiff /Sunderland ,spoons heaving I’ve gone to philharmonic,6.50 peroni and 7.00 for the missus AU Vodka and mixer ,;) I’m ok fk spoons today ,I’m off to the more expensive places where most footy fans won’t bother ,There’s only one place more identikit and soulless than a spoons and it’s Brewdog, Spoons ftw in that scenario.
I just like a peaceful place and a drink I’m not bothered about cost, although I would’ve had a few in spoons had not been so rammed, looks like we eating in the alchemist as missus just booked a table ,a few mad cocktails incoming

Oh change the record FFS. Ok you don't like Spoons, so what? What do you think that is going to acomplish other than derailing a thread. There’s only one place more identikit and soulless than a spoons and it’s Brewdog, Spoons ftw in that scenario.

Brewdog make Wetherspoons look like a Michelin restaurant.
Prefer the food at BrewdogBrewdog Waterloo is decent if you're in a large group as they have activities like table tennis and a slide down to the bar, clientele is millennial hipster and suits having a pint after work.
Meant to be the largest pub in Europe so does lack atmosphere if visited on a day other than Thurs-Saturday.

PH always delivers. Comparing top-end gastropubs with Spoons and then making snarky comments about food quality at a fraction of the price.
Lovely spots - get yourself down there. Obviously I wasn’t comparing them, go back and read it again.

That is what we are hoping to do. I think there are five in the centre and we are there for five nights. So that's breakfast and lunner (late lunch/early dinner). Hotel want £12 for a full English, so that'll be a daily saving of £14. Plus I can never eat breakfast until I have been awake for at least three hours.
