Tea bags. Specifically - which one?

We have tried
Sainsbury's - ok, but we don't go in Sainsbury's very often.
Tesco - ok, but you get a box with the bags all loose inside, so once you have opened the box, they are all exposed to the atmosphere.
Lidl - ok, cheap, but we have found the odd bag bursts in the cup and if you don't spot it, that is horrible.

I/we are not interested in loose ta and we can't detect any difference in taste between the different brands.

What do you think? Have I got to make a trip to Sainsbury's once in a while?

Or what?

Buy a large kilner jar to put your teabags in once the box is opened. Or any similar container with an air tight lid.

Brew Tea Co. - I use their loose left tea but bags are also available, knocks the spots off all supermarket tea for flavour:

PG or Tetley teabags are in a pot for Wendy. I'm more into green tea and other herbal offerings (the Romanians blend their own herbal tea and drop a dollop of honey in a cup when having it. Lovely.).

On 'normal' tea, after helping a customer with a problem on the rear windscreen of their Porsche 996, they sent a box of brownies which included a bag of Brockenhurst Breakfast teabags to show their appreciation. I've ordered more of that tea because it's probably the best I've ever tasted.

(Kenyan [Tinderet] & Indian [Assam] black tea). It really is a lovely cuppa.

we just buy a catering pack of yorkshire tea off amazon, and put a clip on the bag once we've chucked a handfull in the jar in the kitchen..... we (mostly me to be fair) can go through an insane volume of tea if left to our own devices, especially on the weekend.....

Can anybody else had problems with the bags bursting? First world problem, I know, but it's irritating when it happens.

I'm Sainsbury's Red Label & don't have an issue with the bags bursting. You can buy boxes of at least 160 so a couple of those should keep you going for a while.

I may have to go back to Sainsbury's Red Label. We recently bought a box of PG Tips, see how they go.

I buy Tea Pigs extra strong Earl Grey from Amazon in the catering size. Never had a problem with bags bursting.

I like Yorkshire Tea.

Does it really matter if they are stored in a box open to the atmosphere?

Cornish tea bags for me, kept in a kilner jar when they are out of the box.

Agree. Also Yorkshire. I get the Yorkshire decaf as they're the only decaf that taste of tea. Expensive, but worth it.

I don't drink tea, but I am the primary tea maker in the house.

The primary tea consumer says it has to be Yorkshire Tea.

I put the milk in first when making her tea though, which appears to be offensive behaviour in many circles, so I'm not sure how discerning she is to be fair.

You can't put milk in first when you are using teabags!
It bungs the holes up and reduces the temperature of the water. It's madness!
