If any of you get dark star beers in your pubs I'd recommend trying their seasonal beer for November, six grain. They describe it as a pale, but it's got a lovely rich chestnut colour to it, full of flavour and very drinkable. It's 4.8% and has a nice blend of flavours which really complement each other.

Thanks,I'm a fan of Dark Star but unfortunately don't see them very often, I'll keep an eye out. HughG said:

I tried this tasty little lager/ipa hybrid the other day from the williams brothers brewery, very nice indeed! Available in some sainsbury's branches.
Williams Bros don't make a bad beer, their stuff is incredible. Good Times, Seven Giraffes and Joker are probably my three favourite beers at the moment. mad4amanda said:
I'm in Kent so may just drive down in which case a polypin at £78 looks reasonable. but thought that asda and waitrose often do local stuff?
going to Faversham too!
I've seen Harveys in my local Sainsbury's in Wiltshire from time to time. It may be worth checking them out. If I remeber correctly it was around this time of year, too.going to Faversham too!
