A mate of mine has this on at a Uni Ale Festival:
You read correct, 32% Stout..
I tried their Trashy Blonde at the weekend. An excellent summer beer. You read correct, 32% Stout..
My neighbour has a bottle of Sink the Bismarck for us to try in the next week or so.
Local to me a brewery has opened recently (about a year ago I think) and this week I've been going through a selection of their bottled condition ales, I've only had one or two of each but I'm already a big fan.
Neath Abbey Ales
The Abbey Ale is my favourite so far - very smooth even a bit too easy to drink! Highly recommended.

Bought Tactical Nuclear and Sink The Bismarck a few months ago.My neighbour has a bottle of Sink the Bismarck for us to try in the next week or so.
Both pack a punch with the flavours though they where superb. Not usually an IPA drinker but Sink The Bismarck went down a treat. Drank them as Brewdog suggest...

it should be enjoyed in small servings and with an air of aristocratic nonchalance. In exactly the same manner that you would enjoy a fine whisky, a Frank Zappa album or a visit from a friendly yet anxious ghost.
Also enjoyed a few fine beers this weekend from the Trackside Pub on Bury Bolton St Station:
Sulzer Slayer Revenge
English Electric Shocker
Maybach Mayhem
Paxman Pale Ale
Piston Broke
Deltic Diesel
Well worth a visit to this place, 9 hand pumps all in use with an ever changing selection.
I first "found" ale back in 2004/5 up to that point I'd never even considered it but i was getting fed up with constant poor quality lager in pubs or always the same flavour.
Anyway I forced myself to go to a real ale festival with a mate who drinks anything but was an ale fan over lager.
So since then Id have to say it's very rare for me to have a lager it's all ale now.
Always try different ales in different locations which is always good.
I tend to buy the 16pack of badger ales 500ml from Costco they are normally on special once every four months it works put at £1 a bottle so I buy a good 6cases pf them.
Best badger has to be Golden Glory. Have that on a nice hot sunny afternoon after cutting the grass and BBQ perfect.
McKewans Golaith is another nice one
Youngs bottled special ale 6.9% really nice in low quanitiies
Old Woger is one to get acquainted with.
One local brewery of mine (very very local) is the Lodden they make a fine range of beers.
Dr Hexters Healer lovely
And I know it might be unfashionable but I do like a good London Pride.
We went on a beer trip to brugee ... I have to say I'm a Brune (dark) fan.
Also where can I get a mild? I've only ever found a tiny selection in beer festivals but impossible to find in any pub I've been in apart from the one in the centre of Manchester opposite the ferris wheel
