Shirley I can't be the only one who enjoys the odd tipple of this stuff. So for all of you who enjoy a proper pint, what's your favourite tipple?

Currently enjoying a Triple XB myself

In the bottles the Youngs special London Ale at 6.9% is rather nice.

In the pub I like to try lots of different stuff, although Adnams broadside or fullers ESB and Youngs Special are nice

Currently 'Gold Old Boy' from the West Berkshire Brewery. Which is about 4 miles from where I live.

I like Jennings Cumberland for a few pints on an evening, and am occasionally partial to Durham Magus (have to be in the mood, though - it's very hoppy). Tim Taylor's Landlord is always worth a bash, and Deuchar's Caledonian IPA also makes a nice session pint.

Fan of Youngs Special or Bombardier. Nothing like a nice ale on a cold day!

Old Peculiar
The same people used to make a stronger ale, Masham Strong Ale IIRC, I recall drinking it with friends at the Tan Hill Inn.

Old Rosie Cider (OK not an ale but if any real ale types ever fancy a cider try this one)

Just don't expect to be able to use your legs afterwards. It's as if the alcohol gets diverted to your legs instead of your brain. I've seen a few people think they are fine, stand up and be close to be picking themselves off the floor!

Oh well as Cider has been mentioned I may as well continue the theme. If you get the chance to try "Rattler", personally I think its fantastic but it seems to be a love/hate thing .

Good ol' Wherry from Woodfordes is always a winner round these parts.

There's a wealth of micro breweries cropping up in Norfolk at the moment so we're not short of the good stuff!

Both Greene King IPA and Abbots Ale are very drinkable.

Also Adnams Bitter hits the spot.
