I've just started (well last night) to work my way through the results of this:

http://www.woodfordes.co.uk/shop-online/real-ale-k...

I've made 3 brews using different kits, and this is by far the best.

Dad?

We've just bottled that beer too. Quite a big ale.

I had the pleasure of tasting Padstow IPA over the weekend whilst on a weekend break. Absolutely lovely beer, well worth checking out if you are down Padstow way. Most restaurants in the town serve it including Margot's, Rojano's and the very excellent new restaurant Burgers & Fish. Also available from the brewery shop and Bin2 in Padstow. Took a few bottles home with me.

If you happen to be in Oswestry drinking. Try the Station Bitter. http://www.stonehousebrewery.co.uk/index.php

I believe we were in The Oak, and then The Courtyard (Live music some nights), and err...somewhere else, but it appeared almost everywhere had some. (Or our local guide knew where to select!)

I live nearby and my cousins wife works in Bin2; I shall give that a try; cheers!

I don't think many people do beer like the Belgians:

10% and only 3 Euro per bottle, note the sharp edged glasses.
Beer garden scenery was interesting too:

A new brewery has recently opened round the corner from me, and this is their launch ale:

No points for presentation, but it's a lovely brew. There's a new one coming in the next few weeks, but if you're in a pub in west Herts that has this on, it's worth a pint or two. Or three.

Do any of you chaps have any experience of buying online through websites such as http://www.bestofbritishbeer.co.uk or similar? I'm finding it harder to buy a decent variety nearby to me and would be nice to be able to send a crate or two to Norfolk easily.

Any experiences?
