I did buy some about five years ago, and they are tiny. I'm sure they used to be half the size of the plate when we were kids (much like Wagon Wheels used to be).

I've just done some online shopping with Tesco and saw they were on special offer. Not had them for at least 10 years so thought I'd treat my self. I pushed the boat out and spent 89p on a pack of 4.

You like the taste?

Apart from the painful melting of the roof of my mouth, the only other sensation I felt from eating them was a huge sugar rush and a cardboard like consistency yuck

'Dirty Food Retro' The latest sensation to sweep the nation.

Someone should release a compilation Dirty Food Retro product line so we can shop dirty like we did in the 1980's. I also sense an opportunity to rival the specialist food deli's that have sprung up everywhere.

'Lord Benjo's Dirty Food Deli'

Purveyors of Additive Ridden Filth since 2007.

I'm off to write a business plan.
