Prices of the Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2013 is scary. On auction at the moment for £600 and still got until Monday when it ends...
I had a quick look and if I saw it right the price used to be around £100, and since (I presume) the award it has gone nuts!

What auction site do people use for selling? Think I will sell one of the Talisker 1985 bottles soon. If anyone is interested let me know, smile

Ok that's one bagged for Pod!
If no one else wants one, I'll have two! hehe
I'll be passing through the Aberdeen whisky travel retail at Christmas, so will get it there (if nothing else takes my eye!).

Day four of the advent calendar has introduced me to this http://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskies/isle-of-jura-...

It's very nice, I think I might have to get a full bottle.

Mrs Podie likes it, I'm less convinced.

They had one and it was already sold at 9pm.

Crap discount anyway.

The Oban one is also good by the same user.

Trying to work out where I recognise him from. Finished my Oban the other day actually.

Really enjoying Hibiki Suntory 12. Not a great taste at first but seems to develop and leave a really pleasant quite sweet woody aftertaste.

Well, the Christmas stock has built up to alarming levels hehe

Glenfiddich 21 & Glenmorangie 18 (thanks Mr R), a Balvenie 16, Mortlach 16 F&F (thanks Mr L), a number of Aberlour A'bunadh 49s, a Glenmorangie Taghta.... so not likely to be short over the festive season hehe

Taken a liking to the Auchentoshan three wood, so imagine a bottle of that will appear soon too. hehe

Also have a couple of others in transit!

Interesting!

Big fan of both rum and whisky but quite new to the latter so I'm yet to try anything born from a rum cask. Will give it a go biggrin

Got given a bottle of Black Grouse this morning by my client as a birthday gift.

Picked up a bottle of Arbelour 16 the other week as an early Christmas present to myself and I still have a bottle of Mortlach 15yr old then I picked up at the whisky tasting that i'm yet to open.

Glad i'm not driving anywhere this Christmas!

Just picked this up in my local Asda, just in time for Christmas!

It was the very last bottle of Quinta Ruban they had, not a bad price at £38.50 either!
