I shall be there on trade day, as I was last year. Usually a good laugh.

If you've not been before then a spot of advice:

- 1/3 of a pint is plenty, especially when almost every one you get will be closer to 1/2.
- avoid the really strong stuff until last
- don't forget to eat as well!

Been for the last few years. Get there early if you can and call it a day early as it gets very noisy and very busy after the offices get out. As said - 1/3 or 1/2 pints, and try the ones you really want early as after 5 or 6 they'll all taste the same wink

Some nice grub there too.

Will be going again.

Actually one thing that surprised us quite a bit last year was the ciders. Quality stuff.

Yep, I'll be there on the Friday. It's become something of an annual tradition now to take the day off, head to the westend for a browse around the shops, into chinatown for some tasty dim-sum lunch, then hit the Beer festival mid afternoon. drink

I am going down on Wednesday evening for a few with the gang from work, and will be attending with a couple of the lads on Friday day.

I have been to quite a few. Usually midday to about 6pm then it starts to get really busy and you cant move.

Buy a pint glass not the actual 1/3 or 1/2 pint glasses. The pint glass has the smaller measures on the side.

Usually there is a great pie stall

SO it's 8 odd quid to get in, how much is it a 1/3 pint on average?

Might take me and a mate there on the Friday. Will make a change from our usual hangout of the princess louise..
