Not a "great breakfast" but what I had this morning. A simple sausage and egg sandwich with ketchup.

Egg goes on top. That is just wrong.

Otherwise, nice.

I flipped it over, I had unfortunately got my timing slightly wrong. So I was bored waiting for my sausages to brown so I put the eggs in first to speed it up a bit.

While we're talking of things we forgot to photograph I had leftover french stick baked in a tray of whisked egg with green peppers, fresh chilli and chorizo through it, with some grated cheddar on top.

The things I'll do to have something to put the leftover sour cream in the fridge on...

Simple and tasty, and great nostalgia too - I'm sure most of us have had boiled egg and soldiers when we were kids! biggrin

Time to refill your salt though...

I'm going to play a wild card here and suggest that salt is just salt?

Happy to be persuaded otherwise.

Yup, I'd recommend it! Seems to behave differently to your common or garden saxa.

nono

That's produced near the Bradwell-on-Sea nuclear power station which leaked for 14 years, and is currently in the process of de-commissioning. No leaks there then rolleyes

Pasta is pasta... but fusilli tastes different to spaghetti, whch tastes different to penne, which tastes different to cannelloni, macaroni, etc etc. The shape and texture determines the taste.

With salt it's the size of the crystals that changes how it tastes.

The Bloody Best (from restaurant website)
A 32 oz. glass overflowing with the Best Bloody Mary you've ever had. Featured on Urbandaddy.com and Creative Loafing, this beast boasts Absolut Peppar vodka mixed with Fat & Juicy Bloody Mary mix. Then we garnish it with a savory piece of bacon, pepperoncinis, blue cheese stuffed olives, Tots, steak, a slice of toast, and a hard-boiled egg. Served with a Beef Straw to drink from (not kidding). This monster is amazing!
