That's not tea. That's "brown warm".

Not sure about duck for breakfast but that looks so nice I'm willing to give it a try.

That was my colleague's Earl Grey. I had black tea, but they served it the continental way, with a tea bag in a cup and a jug of "boiling" water. I sent it back. I was frankly amazed that anyone serves tea like this in England.

Just added a dash of mustard power, pinch of parsley and a splash of milk once the eggs where cooked. Stick a lid on and take off the heat and steam in the milk for a few minutes before stirring again.

Gives wonderfully moist scramble eggs.

I remember when my mother used to give me scrambled eggs cooked within an inch of it life and like chewing on a leather boot!

Cheers for that, they look great.

For those of us with no access to mustard powder, d'you think it would work just by adding a spoon of normal English Mustard?

Do you need some mustard powder sending across the border?

Totally. Just the powder was to hand as I used it the other night.

Thanks for the offer, 5pot, but I can easily get some the next time I go to the English Shop in Köln thumbup

Just thought I'd ask for this weekend as I have Gallons of Colmans finest, but ready made, so I'll try using that smile

A couple from me.

On Sunday before going for a hoon to North Wales - dry cured bacon and egg batch, under the veranda:

One from the Village Hotel breakfast buffet, not that exciting, but it is good to have black pudding available, it is often missed from a full english:

Unfortunatly, after 11 days of cooked breakfasts, I'm back to cereal before work.

That is one hell of an egg yolk.

It's the Dirty Harry of the egg world.
