This seems to be doing the rounds on the web ATM but thought i'd put it here for any breakfast afficiondos who dont spend 24/7 online

http://www.viralnova.com/breakfast-cupcakes/

I am definately trying this at the weekend!
I would like those if someone else did them, for me to do, too much effort. When expending effort it must be worthwhile and I do not know how they would improve on just a dirty fry up.

Plus I'd need about 20 to satisfy.

They say an Englishman's home is his castle.

I've just had second thoughts about this. Wouldn't those be rather excellent for a picnic compared to an egg and cress sandwich !

Or as an extra item with a traditional ploughmans lunch at a nice pub ?

In that case these would be a welcome treat.

Excuse the crude drawing but this is the kind of thing i had in mind:

I accept that beans may not the best item to go within what should be a fairly solid...whatever we're calling it, but i couldnt think of anything else, open to suggestions.

Obviously there'd be egg on there but i'd have ruined my diagram!

I won't post a picture as we all know what crumpets look like... I've been having 2 of them, coated in Lurpak, most mornings.

I've tried many varieties but Warburtons are the only ones I enjoy.
