My first attempt at 20 second Poached Eggs...



A few weeks ago a friend gave me his nearly new lovely microwave. Not having had a microwave for years I haven't used it much so have decided to experiment. These are cracked into a mug with an inch of water in and then cooked for 20-30 seconds.

Not fantastic, but they were just as tasty as my usual. Though that may me down to their freshness.

Nice and quick option in around a minute!

I can feel a spoons breaky and pint coming up,getting a bit of a habit lately ,as long as the OH hurries up with her hair,last weeks was in Torquay ,this week I'm back in my local.see u in bit.

It's a bugger when you're tucking into some good old marmite on toast (warm toast wink) and 6 fingers in you spot mould on the crusts. Blugh!
