Right, inspired by the "Steak and eggs for breakfast?" thread, and Johnny's training breakfast up there ^^^ I had a go at steak, eggs and hashbrowns.

It does feel a bit weird eating steak for brekkie, and I don't think I will need another meal until the weekend now, but it was very tasty if I do say so myself.

Are your Hens laying well Matt? Mine are & the Ducks! Have an abundance of Eggs despite offloading some to friends and family. I've got a thing for various Egg Salad dishes of late.

Currently sat in the garden with my girls. Ducks are so happy, might have babies soon smile

Yes Gretchen, though we are down to three hens now. Weirdly one of them has become very maternal and sits on the eggs trying to hatch them. She does not budge from the hen house. I have to use a stick to encourage her off the eggs as she is way too vicious to approach with a bare hand!

Mine go broody from time to time. One won't move even when practically run over with a lawn mower! Found about a dozen or so eggs under her recently (not all hers) but she'd been missing for a week. They need cooling down when they get like this. Get the eggs out straight away too. Snaps them out of it...bit like a cold shower wink

It was good, especially the last pancake - I got a bit over keen with the batter and 'The Last One' should actually have been two so it only just fit on the plate.

Nice to see someone who can make a proper strength cup of tea as well.
