Making a lot of these recently and again today, Bacon, Pancakes, Maple Syrup with Scrambled Eggs.

If I was being picky I'd prefer the eggs cooked a bit less.
Still would eat that right now lick
It's funny. The older I get the less I like soft eggs.

Inspired by this thread I thought I would post this. Technically it was lunch, this feels like home.

Ok, I did share it with my wife but it was a good effort.

had my greatest bacon sandwich this morning. 6 rashers of unsmoked back bacon fried crispy. Towards the end of frying maybe the last minute grate Parmesan over the top. Put on a warm plate for 2 mins to help cheese melt. Meanwhile take two slices of thick white bread and chuck them in the pan to soak up the juices. When toasted one side remove. Plenty of ketchup or brown sauce them om nom nom......

Happy Friday folks and welcome to the weekend!

Money shot.....

I was idly browsing PH whilst eating this in a very nice cafe in Macclesfield.

It was very pleasant, with a bonus piece of black pudding under one of the mushrooms.

just as it came to the table I was on this thread looking at JK Rolling's post. I am not an jealous man, but let's just say I know what I would rather have eaten.

I don't often have anything to eat until lunch and here I am with a second post in about a week.

I'm going to get my Christmas shopping done this morning then out on the ale from early afternoon so I though I should have something. Exept I can't really cook and haven't got much in the fridge. So I just put what I had to in a pan and hoped something edible would come out!

Here we have 6 eggs 6 slices of Serrano ham and half a block of cheese! Omelette type behemoth. Not forgetting 3 slices of toasted seeded batch.

Breakfast dish but for dinner as I wanted to get it all eaten up. Bacon, sausages, fried eggs (one broke frown), black pudding with fried potatoes and onions. Plus a drop of sriracha and tom sauce.

Having a day off today and I've been mesmerised by this thread, and inspired by the Gordon Ramsay scrambled eggs video posted earlier.

So, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on avocado-smeared toasted sourdough, anyone?
