What bacon is that, and how did you cook it - looks perfect.
Ocado streaky bacon. £1.50 a pack, has 12 rashers (actually six double rashers). I just lay the rashers on a tinfoil-covered tray, and put in the oven at 180c until they are nice & crispy. No need to even turn them over! I cook the sausages on the same tray alongside the bacon, but I finish them off in the frying pan to get them nice and browned.

That's roughly what I do, I can see now it's a "double-width" streaky rasher

Sticks.

Reasonable considering it was on a train this morning.
And not a baked bean in sight (for once).

Baked beans = OK
Fried egg (gently) = great
Baked beans plus fried egg = hurl

Somehow I got round to making the pie for a colleague who reckoned they were going to do circuit training before work (a bit random I know) and this was the reward.

The picture on the recipe looked better than mine, that one had pastry underneath as well, where as I discovered that Jus Roll only has enough in a packet to cover the top.

I didn't actually try it but there was lots of yummy noises happening in the office.

I think it is the eggs that kill it for me.

I'd struggle with the eggs too. I was drawn to this recipe though because all the others seem to bacon and egg and no sausagemeat!

I cook it the night before and bring it in. Leave it at room temp for a bit before eating and its lovely.

Second breakfast was taken about 0930.
