Ive had a couple of good breakfasts this weekend. Yesterday I made scrambled egg on toast for the future Mrs CB and a breakfast burrito for myself:

Then of course she had to go one better today:

My best friend is originally from Kansas City. When he makes biscuits in gravy, mother of god they are amazing. I wish they were more popular over here - i've had them at a couple of american style diners but its never the same.
Can you ask him/her how to do it...pretty please smile

True. The British version, custard creams in Bisto, just doesn't cut it...
LoL!
Aren't the biscuits more like savoury scones?

Yes. Biscuits in gravy is essentially scones with a sausage/sage based white sauce.

Shrove Tuesday +2. Note to diary: cook fewer pancakes next year.

American buttermilk and UK traditional pancakes with scrambled eggs and old time sausages.

A single rasher of bacon, just one, no more bacon! Who makes just one rasher of bacon? Who thinks just one rasher of bacon is acceptable as part of any meal! Even in a burger I'd feel done if I only got one rasher of bacon!

And where's the eggs?

Also, cheese has no place on a cooked breakfast! You need a role model!

Listen here you, I'm not a eat a cooked breakfast on my own kinda guy. My other half wanted bacon, so I cooked some, she took what she wanted so I had the rest.

I think you also need to apologise to the cheddar gods, as cheese should go on everything.

Don't get me started on eggs, eugh, wtf is up with eggs.

My breakfast this morning was the remains of last nights takeaway pizza:

Surely we can make comments about the crockery, though?

I'll pass them onto the plate buyer. They've been brought up in the dinner thread too!
