Non Alcoholic Beer?

non/low-alcohol beer..... What is the f*****g point?
I like the fact that I can sit and have a few beers with my mates, without the fuzzy head/hangover and being able to drive home when I want.I suppose it's partly psychological. Like the 'nicorette inhaler' for smokers which gives their hands something to do.

Drivers who do not want to drink sweet sickly soft drinks. I don't know about beer but for lagers, swan used to be ok. Becks zero/blue it supposed to be nice. Carling produced C2 (2% alcohol) for a while but not seen it around anywhere

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas as to what is the best non alcohol beer? and does any one know if there is such a thing as non alcohol ale or bitter?
WITCH - BURN HIM! I've only really ever tried that hideous Kaliber stuff some years ago and wouldnt again.
There is a Jupiler 'Light' which has next to no Alcofun in it - but it just feels like Im cheating myself.
Im in the unfortunate position now of having many many beers available, and very few of them fall below 6%, so even when drinking a standard lager its sadly lacking in flavour.
Having been off the drink for a year now i can say that Lowenbrau Alkohol frie is a fantastic beer. I doesnt even register that its alcohol free anymore when i have a couple of an evening. I have tried a fair few alcohol free beers and this is the best IMO
Oh and if you need anymore reason to swtich, since i gave up alcohol i have lost 15kg

Where would one have to frequent to obtain such a brew, or antibrew as it were. Getting Lowenbrau WITH alcohol in it is usually the preserve of specialist off licences, let along the alkohol frie stuff. Oh and if you need anymore reason to swtich, since i gave up alcohol i have lost 15kg

I thought I would conclude this as I have now found a beer!
I took a leaf out of Lord Pikeys book and went in search of a German Brew! I did a bit of digging and found Clausthaler Low Alchohol 0.5% beer (was looking for their non-alco but could not find a local stockist). Turns out its very nice indeed! its atually a lot nicer than some regular well known beers I have drank and is more than good enough for a few well deserved cold ones in the evening! that way I can drink more Ale at the weekend
I suggest anyone who thinks low/non alco is not worth trying give this stuff a go!

When you have to give up drinking due to alcohol intolerance bringing on a migraine within a half hour of drinking any beer, wine, spirits etc a cold bottle of Cobra Zero or Becks Blue is a bloody nice thing to have on a summers eve after you get home from work.
Problem is finding the non alcoholic stuff as it is not stocked in supermarkets round here. Any links etc as to where Bitburger Drive can be found would be gratefully received.
