Also, I find on our gas hob they tend to bake on muck very easily, good cleaning tip is to remove all you can by scrubbing (gently!) then just cover the base in water, add a shake of baking powder and put on the hob. Watch it and take off before the water evaporates, it should lift all the black burnt on goo.

Someone at our workplace is selling 3 used saucepans and a frying pan for £50 if anyone is interested - as previously mentioned I don't like the weight, but if anyone's interested I can see if they're still available Monday - buyer to collect from Swindon I would presume given they're so darn heavy!
