It was the 'sorry' that threw me, then everything else seemed to be contradictory.

As a btw, anyone play golf?

To clarify, I m looking at 2 scenarios.
1. I get the heads back at the ned of next week, in which case I will not be attending due to being locked in the garage
2. The heads are not back, in which case I shall be free anyway and will definitely be there

My dad has ordered me a mixed crate of wine which I will pick up on the way, but I am bringing a crate of carling in a cold box so I don't fill the fridge, I will need a cold one after the drive.

I also have a bottle each of Fullers ESB and London Pride as I have been trying to get into proper beer. I have even been to a couple of CAMRA beer fesivals but still can't really get into it. Funny thing is I kind of like some of the summer beers but also like ESB, go figure.

I'm going to order a case of Hansa, my favourite SA beer going with the SA theme biggrin... Will see about getting some real ales from the brewery in the village for people to try then. Wine is also a defo.

Oh and Jen (Mrs. SVX) has suggested bringing a few board games along - any takers?

If you know where to find Castle lager I will bring some. Will take me back to my time in a working hostel in Tel Aviv from my traveling days.

Thinking of Israel I remember sinking quite a few pints of Goldstar

...or hide and seek biggrin

re the lager question - don't usually drink it when it's late afternoon and after, this is to hopefully ensure I sleep without interruptions wink...as I get older, it becomes more of an issue biggrin

Funnily enough, I can't/don't drink alcohol during the day.

Just lots in the evening - before anyone else says it. rolleyes

Sounds exciting, shame we can't make it, though after MC's admission about champagne and beer results, it may be good we aren't going hehe

No probs. For anyone in a car, I would have thought it would be a good idea to bring some food / booze as a back-up. Perhaps eat and drink that on the Saturday, then each chip in however much and go shopping for Sunday and Monday (or to the pub).

I'm stopping at the market in Carmarthen on the way down for cheeses etc - if I can pick up something like a big joint of meat then I will. There may be stuff on offer as the market will be closed on Sunday and BH Monday. Alternatively, there may be nothing at all!
