...they get jolly hot in a steamy sort of way so I wondered - if you wrapped up some salmon in foil , could you cook your next dinner whilst washing up the last one?

Yay!

It was indeed partially inspired by the tale of the man who could cook his dinner on the way home by packing various bits of it around the engine compartment...

Have done this, works a treat! Just make sure the melted(ing) cheese is correctly packaged or it makes a big mess.

Yup, this works as a friend's dad used to do it for his gatherings. I am sure there are more effective ways to cook fish though !!!

I am presently having an ironic laugh at that link and the concept of a 'treehugger' using a dishwasher.

Surely if they are that 'green' they would wash the dishes by hand?
