I'll be bringing lots of cookbooks to provide inspiration.

My favourite at the moment is Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's 'Everyday'. Lots of ideas for inexpensive but interesting meals.
Oh! I have loads of cook books. Never been used. Shall I bring them?

I have a couple by Jamie "rubber-faced mockey tt" Oliver, an Anthony Worral-tiddlypush-quadrupled-barrelledname, and some generics.

No, wait. I just went to check. Most are missing. Which is ironic as Ms. LardyArse never cooked yet must have taken them. Oh well.

But your photos are legendary. Anyone who can eat a whole chicken and a tonne of veg and yet still be a svelte as you are beggars belief. Honestly, when I met you I was expecting you to be enormous (err, let me rephrase that). Ha ha.
The meals I post are weekend meals when I cook, they are not everyday stuff otherwise I would be the size of a house.

I am bringing 2 series of his TV programs on DVD so we can take the piss.

Just for comedy value

I gave a load of mine to Charity shops...so that might be where they ended up wink
As I get older, I find I don't need recipes, I can just make a meal with whatever i'm left with. smile

Apologies for the lack of photos (as yet). Ow, my head (hic), and we've barely made a dent in the booze...

Awesome to meet you all - enjoy the rest of your week.

See you later folks, I have my last call at 3pm today, will then nip home, change, load the car and set off around 5pm, I should easily be with you all by 9pm.

Really looking forward to it.

Well, I'm back from the rather drink-heavy, food-light Gathering.

Left MC, BG, smack, Cotty and Condor down there. Sadly work brought me back sooner than I anticipated.

What a laugh. Old friendships renewed, new ones made, experiences experienced, all sorts. smile

Definitely want to make the next one! That alcohol store looks immense - but how much of it was home brew?
