I'm currently quaffing a can of 'Red Devil' and quite enjoying it - can't stand Red Bull (or any of its cheap derivatives) but this stuff is really quite nice! Tastes like cherryade, and the caffeine keeps me wired all night nuts

Crate of 24 cans cost me about £7 from Makro, so a bargain to boot!

Yeah I'm quite partial to Red Devil, you don't see it around as much as Red Bull but it tastes a lot better. Seems to have more of a kick to it too smile

I can only drink the sugarfree stuff, and even then a can a day is enough. The bloody stuff gets my heart banging a treat.

If I need a lift, I usually tend to stick to a good old fashioned coffee.

I know a guy who has an energy drink habit. He stays awake all night and can only do work after 3.00pm the next day. I phoned him once at about noon and he could barely talk; sounded like he was crushed under a lorry.

Don't see the point, unless you're on active service in a war zone. Humans need to sleep.

Yep, same.

2 cans a day usually.. Not good for you after a while really.

I now have a can of RedBull every 2 days or so just because I like the actual drink, taste etc.. I've never really noticed if it wakes me up.

I've tried them all, if I go somewhere theres one I've not had before I'll have to buy it.

Looking forward to getting some of that Mountain Dew stuff.. Heard about it, never seen it though.

I occasionally use some of the juice ones, like Monster Ripper, as a sort of combined juice /coffee substitute in the morning.
There are so many about, of which my least favourite is Red Bull and various clones of it...
i might drink a few a week, instead of a coffee when i need a bit of waking up

Not sure of its name but I bought a can of something (was bright red like food dye) in a German service station. I shared a can with a friend and we drove till we hit Bulgaria.

That was an energy drink.

Same here, been a while since I tried any.

Coffee is good enough. Or pre-workout sports supplements biggrin

I think everyone knows someone who lives on the stuff. It really can't be any good for you long term.

Loved this stuff in the States, but it doesn't appear to be available in the UK. frown

I never touch energy drinks day to day, but if I'm on a drive or ride of more than 100 miles, I'll always get one of some description, regardless of whether I'm thirsty/tired/lacking in energy. Usually Relentless or Monster.

I just finished a RB as I was reading this!

I like energy drinks, the sweet sugary taste is fantastic. Dont drink too many though.

Not noticed if they affect me to be honest. The only one that does is;

http://www.voltzenergyshot.co.uk/

I felt wired for hours and my vision went blurry at first.

Not good.

I'm not sure I like this quote..

13883% of your RDA?!

Red Bull for me, although the caffine doesn't affect me in the slightest - probably immune after the amount I have consumed.
