Healthy junk food...
Discussion
I know, bit of an oxymoron, but I have decided to go on a diet as I'm around 2.5stone too heavy, not a problem (well, sort of not a problem!) under normal circumstances, however what do you do when you go out with your friends for drinks?
I plan not to drink lager but have dark rum and diet coke instead (don't like diet coke so hoping the rum will disguise the taste!), but on the way home, I could well be a little bit tipsy..... and always starving! I WILL have to grab something to eat, preferably hot.
Drinks are in London and I will be going home via Liverpool street station so what's the best bet??
Anything from Mc D's, Bugger King, Wasabi (was thinking spicy chicken and rice??) any other?
I believe the salads are as unhealthy as the rest of the menu in Maccas so wondered if a non deep fried chicken burger would be better bet?
No silly answers, you need to understand, normal logic does not apply when i have had a few, as such 'eat a salad before you go out' and 'buy some fruit instead would be completely reasonable, but useless answers
If all else fouls, i reckon its going to be a whopper and chips, please help me!

Drink Vodka instead of Rum.
Here is a rule of thumb - the clearer the alcohol, the less calories it has.The best and cheapest way to get drunk with the fewest calories, is straight alcohol in the form of rum, vodka, gin etc. because it has no added calories from sugar, hops, barley etc.
Pairing the hard liquor (like rum) with diet coke isn't a bad idea though.

Ocassional McD's chicken burger or two will do you no major harm. Give a miss to those fries though. Could put 2 burgers into 1 bun = less carbs.Their salads menu dressings are full of calories.
Subway wholegrain subs are okay-ish - so long as you go easy on certain dressings.
Healthy shish chicken kebab would be my choice.

Drink Vodka instaed of Rum.
Mate of mine was 18 stone, about 5'10". He stopped drinking midweek, and cut out the ales at the weekend for vodka and slimline tonic. Jacked in the kebabs as well, and at the end of the Summer he was under 15 stone. Still not slim, but better!soad said:
