Plotloss........did you ever make that chilli?

Gina and I bought some Dave's Insanity sauce a couple of weeks ago and are really enjoying it - you do have to be really careful with it though.

Not yet, looking like the weekend of Sep 4th.

Will start cooking it the day before.

I've got quite into my chillis this year, so do enjoy doing them. Normally only 1kg of mince, nothing quite so large as 4kg (mind you - not sure I'd have the cooking utensils!!)

I suspect we'll get through quite a lot on the weekend itself, then its freezer meals from there on out, always handy to have a chilli in, especially post pub.

Tip: Cheap enormous pans, look out for kitchenware suppliers in areas of high Indian population. I've got an urn sized pan with a lid and it was about a tenner as I remember.

Seen the prices of stainless steel buckets?

Way cheaper to buy disposable massive pans...

With normal caveats for not rubbing your eyes whilst doing so, or touching your g/f up until hands are thoroughly washed. biggrin
I make chilli products most days and STILL rub my eyes, nose, etc. and then have to endure the burn. A few days of working with Nagas and the skin becomes infused. Gloves are just too restrictive, at least for prolonged use.

I won't go into too much detail, but it's possible to heat up your partners bits without using your chilli infused hands - all it takes is to go to the loo, chilli your own bits, and, well, use your imagination. I speak from experience, or rather my wife does...:-)

Felt guilty Monday night as my 9 year old son put my bottle of Dragon's Blood on the table for me and then touched his eyes a bit later. He was crying (screaming) for an hour after that frown I didn't really know what to do but soaked his eyes using a shot glass full of water and they got better after a couple of hours but were very bloodshot.

Learn't a lesson there as I thought it was funny at first but could have ended up in A&E or damaged them long term.

Edited to add, my wife grew chillis from scratch in the greenhouse which are just becoming ready, they are potent I can tell you!

PGM, similar story, at my wedding somebody brought me some Mad Dog and one of my page boys maanaged to get a bit in his eye, poor little bugger.

These Naga's are crippling my insides, giving me terrible acid burn in the intestines, but I can't stop chopping them up and putting them on anything that the wife makes.

Thanks for the tip, will freeze the leftovers.
