I'm going to Lasan on Tuesday for a work thing so we're having the banquet menu and I'm really looking forward to it.

Also going to be going to Itihaas on Fleet Street which I've heard is excellent, for a birthday later on in the month.

And just in case anyone's in the area, I had a takeaway from Dilkush on Pershore Road in Stirchley the other week for something cheap and cheerful - any starter, any main course and any nan or rice for £6.50. Granted, it's a case of 'hear no evil, see no evil' when you look at the place - but it was really good! I was really very surprised!

Hope the OP has a great meal - and reports back!
Is that the place opposite the bowling alley/gym?
No that is Massala Merchant opposite Stichley Bowl, very nice curry house though, although i think Akrams just up the road is a little bit better.

My favourite places at the minute are Oasis and Ginger Blue both in the Shirley / Solihull area (not far from the airport)

I like Akrams, has been a bit variable, but generally pretty good. Dilkush is on the same side of the road as Akrams, but further back up the Pershore Rd just after the zebra crossing by Costcutters (coming out of town). It's only a takeaway, not a restaurant and it does look a bit of a dog hole boxedin

Had one last night - chicken pakora, chicken jalfrezi with peppers, garlic & coriander nan, £6.50. Free salad, free poppadums, free onion stuff & free yoghurt sauce Can't complain! (although I feel sorry for my colleagues today!)

Really MUST try Pangaea though as it's so local.

Do it. Seriously! I class that as my best local one so we must live pretty close to each other.

Looks like it!

I wonder where the OP went in the end, & what they thought of it.

I bet they ended up going for a Chinese!
