I had half the neighbours in my garden waiting for this bad boy to finish. Needless to say after 10 hours cooking it didn't hang around long.

A big thanks to Papoo for his recipe and cooking instructions. Tasted amazing!

Compliments from all, and the neighbour who is a chef wanted me to tell you the seasoning was spot on thumbup

Would that be a Webber One-Touch Platinum BBQ ?

I have a Smoky Joe but I think its a bit too small for smoking

Last nights BBQ meal.
See you did Planked Salmon.

There's a lovely glaze for this, if you fancy trying it next time.

1 Cup Maple Syrup
2 TblSpoons Fresh Grated Ginger
3 TblSpoons Fresh Lemon Juice
3 TblSpoons Soy Sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons Minced Garlic.

Combine all that in a pan and reduce down to 1 cup. Divide in half and keep 1/2 cup for pouring.

the other half: Slather on Salmon and grill as normal.

Once you serve, add 1 more table spoon of lemon juice to your reserved Sauce and spoon over salmon.
