Interesting Beer and Lager Photos?
Discussion
Fogive me if someone has already done this - i did do a search but it was taking for ever to get results back, so i just thought i would post anyway.
I thought it would be a good idea if people posted their pictures of interesting beers and lagers, especially if they are served in or with their relevant branded glasses/bottles.
It annoys me when you order a nice pint, but it is then pulled or poured into a totally irrelevant glass. (Like bitter in a stella chalice for example!)

Here are a few i have sampled!
This one was from a bottle in an old bar in Amsterdam
A white Vedett from France
A standard Vedett from France
Pivovarsky Klub in Prague (a great fridge full of excellent beers)
A smoked ale from Germany
An Orval from Pivo in York
A Timmermans Strawberry Beer - this is seriously guzzle-able!
't Arendsnest in Amsterdam - what a selection of draught beers!
't Arendsnest in Amsterdam - a Christoffel and La Trappe

I have to agree, it does annoy me immensely when you get a beer in a glass emblazoned with another brand. I like to enjoy a beer in it's respective glass. I'm also fond of quirky glasses over the traditional British pint glass.
I'll have to dig out my pictures of my trip to Brussels. Beers and glasses that UK pubs could only dream of.

I've tried this whilst on a work trip to Nuremberg. It was both bizarre and utterly delicious at the same time. On the nose it had a real smell of Bavarian smoked cheese, which almost puts you off, but it had a wonderful smooth taste... Do you know if it can be bought in the UK?Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
