I'd do pretty much anything for a big bowl of rhubarb crumble.

I tend to go for the cheeseboard if it's that or pudding, but can be tempted by a really good one.

I like some sour to cut the sweet - bread and butter pudding with fresh plums instead of dried fruit, or a crumble with a sharp stewed fruit. Stuff like sticky toffee pudding is great for one spoonful, beyond which it is inedible.

It must be the time of year but I have a hankering for a lemon or pear tart. Served with a little whipped cream. yum

I am queen of puddings- best meal of the day, as much as I love them I am also quite fussy

Current favourites
Eton Mess with Raspberries instead of Strawberries
Sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and homemade custard (have a great recipe if anyone wants it)

Any pudding, I sometimes think I'll just have four desserts in a restaurant instead of a starter and main. ...

Providing there's no rhubarb in there

Cheesecake, apple crumble or an M&S melt in the middle chocolate one with cream for me. I'm a lard gut I guess.

I'm more of a savoury eater and we don't generally have puddings, but the ones I do like tend to be tangy or bitter rather than sickly sweet.

Dark chocolate mousse - homemade or any Gu offering
cheesecake - blackcurrant or lemon
lemon mousse
Gooseberries - crumble, fool or similar
Rhubarb - as above
Sorbet - lemon generally

You get the idea smile

I had a lovely home-made rhubarb and cherry crumble last night - served with organic vanilla ice cream..!!

As far as desserts go - Creme Brulee - accept no substitute!!

I make this desert, only very occasionally as its a complete faff to make and also takes 6 hours (due to freezing instages). Its called "Peanut Brittle Caramel Crunch Ice Cream Pie"

But, it is superb... only need a little of it though as its very, very sickly...

Try saying that after a few glasses of wine, bit of a mouthful in more ways than one. Looks lovely lick
